#asktheexperts Is gripe water is good for baby? Can I give it to my 7 months old baby?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. it is not recommended to give Gripe water to your baby because it contains and preservatives amount of sugar which is not advised and you can give gastica drops if baby is having gaseous discomfort or Himalaya bonnisan drops

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello mommy, The manufacturers of gripe water claim that it can be given to babies as young as two weeks. However, it is not advisable to offer it to babies under the age of six months, since their digestive tract is still developing and is sensitive. but doctors usually dont suggest to use gripe water.
