#asktheexperts in what quantity and when should be the gripe water and honey given to a baby. from what age should be.?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. avoid honey n gripe water both Gripe water should not be used in babies. It is not good for baby just give only breast milk. Only breast milk is sufficient for your baby till first 6 month. Burp properly after each feed. avoid any self medication.

No Gripe water no Honey nothing can be given to the child before the age of one year honey can be given after the age of one year but gripe water can never be given to the child at any age it is absolutely a complete no-no please don’t give it to the child at all
