Q.

#asktheexperts I stopped breastfeeding my son when he was ,1 year old. at that time milk quantity was not enough for his needs so I stopped. now it has been almost 10 months since I stopped. for past 3-4 days I'm feeling itchiness in one breast. I expressed few drops of breast milk which was dark yellow. then I felt better. 2-3 days after that I'm again feeling same itchiness. in the other breast there's no issue, on forceful expressing from normal breast there's clear fluid.

A. hi mam, itching might be caused by allergy to fabric or dry skin. so you can apply thin layer of coconut oil there. wear Cotton inner wears. keep your body well hydrated. don't press or rub your breasts to express milk .
