#asktheexperts I'm son is 8 months old baby, he got cold we went to hospital they give some syrup and from yesterday onwards he is getting fever and that to head is very heat, I'm using Parestmal syrup but fever coming again and again. what I have to do now? shall I go to hospital r can I use that same syrup one more day?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so itjf needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
