#asktheexperts I'm 5weeks pregnant can I take Azithromycin 250mg twice a day?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. you can take even Azithromycin 500 mg 1 dose in a day but it is always advisable during pregnancy to consult with your treating doctor Al knowing all your conditions and on proper examination they would suggest you the better medication

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl1 Year agoA. During pregnancy we do not recommend you to take such strong antibiotic you should ask for gynaecologist if she says that you can take it then you should otherwise you should avoid taking such medicines during the time of pregnancy
