Q.

#asktheexperts I have read somewhere that pumped breastmilk has less immunity....is it true...as i m pumping milk n feeding my 2 month old daughter....as she used to take 1 to 2 to feed directly from my breast...

A. Hello there, Ma’am. Please do not worry about it too much. It is recommendable to give the feed directly from rest to the baby. But if still there is some problem then you can pump out breast milk. It does not make much of a difference. Please try to give the pumped milk freshly to the baby or if you want to store it then store maximum up to 1 to 2 hours in fridge Also also heat the breast milk stored in fridge before feeding it to the baby.
