#asktheexperts I am mother of 3 month baby girl ..baby do not pass stool form 6 days what can I do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day. If the consistency of the stool is Semdi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool. No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.d It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age

It's normal in babies as some babies can poop once in a few days or even a week and some babies 5-8 times a day...not to worry if the baby is active and healthy otherwise not cranky and the poop is not foul smelling. drink lots of water and also a glass of water before feeding the baby massage the baby's tummy in clockwise direction around the navel and give some cycling exercise to the baby give some tummy time to the baby
