#asktheexperts I am 35 years old, I delivered baby girl on 22nd October 2021, even after 1.5 month of delivery I still have pain in my tail bone which was started since I was 4thmonth pregnant.

A. eat calcium daily. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentCut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. For most women, tailbone pain subsides soon after delivery. Unfortunately, sometimes the instability caused by loose ligaments during pregnancy and the trauma of delivery can cause ongoing tailbone pain and postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction.
