you have to just see for any environmental factor which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the child might be having some digestion problem or breathing difficulty due to nasal blockage has to be looked into.
if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern of the child as it always improve with time
you can increase the physical activitfy during the daytime as well as avoid more sleeping time during the day time and this will help in improving the night time sleeping time .

Okay so if you want to set a proper schedule for the child I will tell you the best way to make your child sleep early by eight or nine in the night is that you do not give day nap to the child because what happens if kids sleep for two or three hours in the day they get very fresh and active and can be up till late in the night so if you want to set a pattern now then you have to do this this will really be helpful but it would be good that your child would sleep early in the night and will wake up early in the morning so all in all it’s a good thing to do
