Q. #asktheexperts My baby girl is born prematurely at 35.3 weeks. Her weight at birth was 2.5 kg. At discharge from hospital her weight was 2.3 kg. Consulting paediatric in the hospital told us that we should not give her bath until her weight exceeds 2.5. I’m bit worried with this as her weight seems not to increase after 8 days of discharge from hospital. Even today it’s 2.3 kg. Secondly her skin quality seems to be deteriorating and getting dry due to no contact with oil and water. Can you please suggest what to do in this case?
