Ideally the weight gets double the birth weight by five months and triple the birth weight by one year. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain. Breast milk has hind milk which comes after few minutes of sucking. This will milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby
