Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Small babies stool frequency varies as they grows.
They may pass stool once in 10 days ,or may pass 10 to 15 times a day in small quantities, golden yellow in colour froothy in nature.so nothing to worry till it associate with abdominal distension, lethargy..black colour poop indicates viral infection or bile pigments

If u are giving iron supplements to ur baby then black stool is due to that.
U can give maxtra syrup for cold and cough, give steam inhalation to ur baby and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
