AnbuthirumagalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi,
don't try to clean it by yourself if she doesn't have any ear problems. ear wax is good for your baby's ear to protect it. excess wax will come out automatically. so don't worry

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Ear should be only cleaned superficially and gently by an ear bud when the baby is sleeping
Do not try to clean deeply by yourself as it can cause injury so consult your doctor for that .
if your baby is continuously rubbing the ear or there is any sign of pain when you should consult ENT specialist for this for proper clinical examination till then you should maintain good hygiene.
do not let the soap water of bathing and the breast milk or secretionm.s during feeding enter into the ear canal to ensure proper hygiene.

First, dip the washcloth in warm water and squeeze it out to get rid of excess water. Then use it to wipe around the outer area of the baby’s ear to gradually clean any earwax that’s trickled outside. Most of the wax will fall out on its own. The remaining can be wiped off. Do not push the washcloth inside the ear canal.
