#asktheexperts how to calm crying baby

1 Answer
Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year ago
A. whenever the child is crying excessively you have to take hold of the child in the arms. you have to find the cause of excessive crying because it can be due to either hunger or it might be due to colic at this age. after breastfeeding also if the the crying continues you can give anti colic medicines and massage and treatment on the line of colic pain. you can walk briskly by holding the child don the shoulder and also sing a lullaby. also see for any local discomfort or temperature variations (hot or cold). for nasal blockaged related crying give nasal saline drops. observe for oral ulcers or fungal infection causing pain.
