#asktheexperts How much quantity of food should a 9 month baby be fed at each meal. If the kid gets distracted and eats more while playing is it ok to continue to feed him?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. it is very important to give all types of food made from cereals (RICE WHEAT and other) pulses (DAL) vegetable milk and fruits to the child and this will only help in increasing the growth weight height immunity of the child. YOU CAN GO FOR ANY RECIPES AND FLAVOURS AND TASTE ACCORDING TO THE THE PREFERENCE OF THE CHILD. Start with small quantity and gradually increase the quantity. you can go for different colour plates as well as different size plates to make eating more attractive. Also it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in your child because that is onne of the most common cause of loss of appetite in the child. You can add ghee and dry fruits powder to the diet to make it more calorie rich.

Yes In fact it is one of the best ways to feed the child because when the distractor they normally like to eat properly because I’m busy into their own play old only so it’s good and the quantity would completely depend on the appetite of the child I really cannot tell you like a fixed amount of food you could be giving
