A. Hi mommy Keep your baby busy in some activities Play with baby often do lots of fun activities together If child is in teething period you can give some carrot stick after keeping in refrigerator to soothe pain Thumb sucking or pacifiers are not usually a concern until a child’s permanent teeth erupt Sometimes thumb sucking might begin to affect the roof of the mouth The risk of dental problems is related to how often how long and how intensely your child sucks on his or her thumb or use pacifiers
