#asktheexperts Hlw mam, This question is for me. I am a cesarean mother. I had my operation in September and since then I have had my period for a few days, like 15 days, and since then I have not had it again. Is this normal? I breastfeed my baby. Is there any reason why I am not getting my period?

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy2 weeks agoA. Hey! Irregularities in periods is very normal post delivery due to hormonal changes. Few mothers get their periods immediately while the breastfeed and few don’t get even after an year. Consult your doctor for further guidance.
