Q.

#asktheexperts Hi, We recently had 10wk vaccination for our child, but hospital said that as per government vaccination schedule they don't offer IPV vaccine at 10wk and will give next at 14 wk. But they have given OPV drops this time along with DTwP/DTap, hib, hep-b, PCV and rotavirus drops. Should we give the 10wk IPV standalone dosage at private vaccination centre? please suggest.

A. You can wait till 14 week it’s not an issue as it has been recommended by the doctor you can go ahead with that link as it is recommended by the doctors at the Anganwadi so that would be the correct way to proceed with this if you’re already taking vaccinations from there and you follow their schedule only
