#asktheexperts hi my baby is 48 days old..she haven't pooped since 6 days...is any medication required or should I wait for some more days?

A. it is normal up to 10 days for breast feeding babies. 15 days for formula milk babies. first you have to check the baby stomach is it normal or not. if the stomach is tight or the baby is crying, please consult your doctor

AnamikaMom of a 3 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it's very common for new born. but you may try to apply hing paste around baby's navel area, it may help in pooping in some cases.

you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in too proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. it's fine dear Constipation and gas problem is very normal in the newborn babies just give your baby good massage with warm oil on his stomach clockwise and anticlockwise position and give him Tummy time daily do exercise with his legs in a cycling form apply hing water around his navel but not in the Navel as well
