Q.
#asktheexperts Hi, My 8 month old is passing hard stools from last 3 days.we are giving homeo medicine to help him but not working. he is still on breastfeed and having some purees. having enough liquids also. Not sure why causing this problem and what should we do to help him pass the stools.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. ok dConstipation is very common in babies you have to modify the food which is more in fibre like green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits like apple mango papaya banana etc

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. The best way to give prunes to your baby is when you start introducing foods around six months. You can give your baby whole mashed or pureed prunes instead of prune juice. Your baby will get both the sorbitol and the fiber from whole pureed prunes, which will help with constipation.
