#asktheexperts Hi, my 19 month baby has unstable stools for more than one month. In his stool examination, Total readucing substances is POSITIVe. Please suggest what should i give him to eat and what not. Should i stop breastfeed. Please find attached report

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its kdnown as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are asxsociated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
