#asktheexperts hi mam I have taking Novelon from almost 2 years with specified description. Before a month I have stopped taking it but i have not got my period yet. We have used precautions while our sessions. Please let me know the cause of delay.

A. Is difficult to say but in most of the cases it could be due to hormonal imbalance and a lot of cases it has been seen problem like PCOD and PCOS so it’s better for you to consult your gynaecologist once again for this

Q. Hi I had my periods twice this month and heavy bleeding..so consulted gynecologist dctr. she prescribed tranxemic acid to be taken for 5 days and tab novelon from 2nd June 2022.( period started on 29th May 2022). but I have a doubt now whether we can take both tranxemic acid and novelon together or do I need to stop tranxemic acid before starting novelon tablet. ( bleeding have reduced now but have not completely stopped)
