#asktheexperts hi Mam 38 week pregnancy now so I should I wait for normal delivery pain or need to take tablet for pain ? and what are symptoms I will get before the labour pain

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist1 month agoA. You can wait until 40 weeks of pregnancy provided there are no high risk factors complicating pregnancy and all other factors are normal and you keep going to your doctor weekly once

ShubhangiMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 month agoA. Why you want to take Pain medicine if you are not getting Natural delivery pain.. full term pregnancy considered as 40 weeks. You can wait untill 40 weeks unless there is a specific medical reason to deliver earlier ask your gynecologist about your medical condition.
When your delivery time is nearby contractions starts and that increase in frequency, duration, and intensity. Your belly starts to become tight. These contractions are felt as tightening in the abdomen and lower back, and can be accompanied by back pain, pelvic pressure, and sometimes nausea or diarrhea.
Don't take to much stress you will know automatically when the time comes

First you need to know if you have an estimated delivery date does not mean that you are going to deliver the same time sometimes it could be more than that also at less than that time also but the labour will happen naturally why do you have to take a medicine in the 38 week when you have one more week left for your delivery or maybe little more than that so just have your patience
