A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you xcan apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. It seems you might be referring to a different issue, but I'll address both scenarios that could fit your description: managing your baby's feeding schedule and applying ice packs.
### Feeding Schedule for an 11-Month-Old Baby
At 11 months old, your baby typically needs about three solid meals and two to three snacks per day, along with breast milk or formula. Here's a general guideline:
- **Breakfast:** Solid food (such as oatmeal, mashed fruits, or scrambled eggs)
- **Mid-Morning Snack:** Light snack (like a small piece of fruit or a few crackers)
- **Lunch:** Solid food (such as mashed vegetables, rice, or pasta)
- **Afternoon Snack:** Light snack (like yogurt or a small piece of bread)
- **Dinner:** Solid food (similar to lunch)
- **Breast Milk or Formula:** About 3-4 times a day, including before bedtime and potentially once during the night.
### Managing Potential Swelling or Bruising (using ice packs)
If your baby has a minor injury, such as a bump or bruise, applying an ice pack can help reduce swelling and discomfort. Here’s how to do it safely:
1. **Wrap the Ice Pack:** Always wrap the ice pack in a cloth or towel. Do not apply it directly to the skin to avoid frostbite.
2. **Apply the Ice Pack:** Apply the wrapped ice pack to the affected area for 15-20 minutes.
3. **Repeat as Needed:** You can repeat this process every 1-2 hours as needed during the first 24-48 hours after the injury.
4. **Monitor for Changes:** If the swelling doesn’t improve or if your baby seems to be in a lot of pain, consult a healthcare provider.
If there's no specific injury and you're using an ice pack for another reason, such as soothing a warm area on your baby, similar principles apply: use the ice pack wrapped in a cloth and apply it in short intervals, monitoring your baby's response.
### When to Seek Medical Advice
- **No Improvement:** If your baby’s symptoms do not improve or if you’re concerned about their condition, it’s important to consult with a pediatrician.
- **Severe Symptoms:** If your baby develops severe symptoms, such as high fever, excessive crying, or noticeable lumps that don’t go away, seek medical attention promptly.
If this doesn't address your concern, could you please clarify your question or provide more details? This will help ensure I give you the most accurate and helpful advice.
