Q.

Hello Dr My baby, today's completion of 10 weeks she has been vaccinated, she is crying too much. Dr advised crocin drops every 4 hrs. kindly advise any thing else can be given.

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given msaximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it contisnues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello dear parent! You can just give Crocin, it will reduce the discomfort. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Keep your baby hydrated. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Good luck and take care
