please try to maintain hygiene of the oral cafvity and if the child is having dental carries then a dental examination will also be required.
meet your paediatrician who will tell you whether examination by the denftist is required or not and will also rule out any type of local pathology which might be causing pain

Apply pressure to the area (if it's bleeding) with a piece of cold, wet gauze. ...
Offer an ice pop to suck on to reduce swelling, or hold an ice-pack wrapped in a washcloth to the cheek.
Give acetaminophen or ibuprofen as needed for pain.
Call a dentist.
