#asktheexperts Hi dr My son pees a lot during night. Day time he tells k he want to pee but night time i put alarm for every 1.5hrs and make him pee. If I forgot or goes after 2-2.5hr them he pees in pants. What could be d reason for more pee? I make him at 10pm then before he sleeps around 11.30 then with alarm 1.10 around them 2.45 then 5 around them he pees after wake up around 9.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Your child's kidneys may make too much urine overnight, leading to an overfull bladder. If your child doesn't wake up in time, a wet bed is likely. Often this excess urine at night is due to low levels of a natural substance called antidiuretic hormone (ADH).
