Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor, There is little blood strain in stool of my child. The stool was hard. What should I do? What can be the reason? My baby is 11.5 months old baby girl.

A. Most likely the hard stool might have cut the opening of the anus and because of that the bleeding might have happened. Give lots of water and high-fiber diet like ripe banana watermelon Apple carrot prunes plums etc.Write Your Answer Here

A. If your baby seems constipated, consider simple dietary changes: Water or fruit juice. Offer your baby a small amount of water or a daily serving of 100 percent apple, prune or pear juice in addition to usual feedings. These juices contain sorbitol, a sweetener that acts like a laxative.
