Its been 2-3 days i am noticing that there is blood when my daughter poops. She had constipation problem few days back but the. She started passing stool daily. Now also when she passed stool she has to use a lot of pressure. Is the blood in stool something to be concerned? The stool is hard and not loose

A. hi it happens because of fissure caused by constipation. please keep your child well hydrated. offer fiber rich food like green leafy vegetables, tomatoes soup, prune juice, fruit like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child. give massage to your child daily. give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands . encourage your child to do more physical activities. skip bakery food items. maintain good hygiene.
