#asktheexperts Hi Doctor Need advice for my 2 yr Daughter related to JE Vaccination. We live in pune Maharashtra and our local doctor has advised for JE Vaccination. But as per Maharashtra Govt vaccination list it is not mandatory. So should we give the vaccination or can be ignored. And if given is there any side effects of it. And how safe this vaccination is. Plz Advice us.

A. Hello my dear parent! It is an optional vaccine that is administered only in the private hospitals. It is better to get all the vaccinations done on time for your child. Speak to your doctor for further guidance in this matter, good luck and take care.
