Q.
#asktheexperts can we introduce outside milk now for 14th month old baby. Plz suggest And Doctors recommending to get JE Vaccination done for the baby. But as per Maharashtra Govt vaccination it is not mentioned. Plz suggest should we go for the vaccination or it's optional only.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the thing is that at this age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or cow's milk for your child.
initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the child is tolerating that amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindly change the type of milk you are giving .
(when you boil the animal milk and then cool it you can remove the upper layer of fat and it becomes a toned milk)
japanese encephalitis is a disease which is very common in eastern and central india as well as half of eastern part of south india.
this disease is slowly spreadingh throughout india.
you have to contact your local pediatrician who will tell you whether this disease is endemic in your state or not.
so if it is endemic it is advisable to go for this vaccine and if it is not endemic you can keep it as an optional vaccine
