The best you are giving already but since it has been five days I think you should go for further checkup also to know it is just a viral infection or it is an airborne infection or some allergy because usually normal cold and cough within 5 to 6 days you know if it is not happening then it’s better to take an assessment with your doctor to have further clarity on that
