Q.

#asktheexperts hi doctor.. my daughter who is currently 7 months old weighs 6.8 kgs which was exactly the same as last month. her birth weight is 3.06 kgs. she is breastfed and was on one meal starting last month. is it common not to gain weight or weight gain process slowing down post 6 months. please advise

A. weight should double the birth weight by 5 month of age Weight gain depeens upon birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it feed for 10 to 15 min from each side

A. A child would gain at least a little bit of weight if it has been completely stagnant then I think you should be consulting your paediatrician ones as on that basis of keenly they can advise you with some supplement if it is required by the bodyWrite Your Answer Here
