#asktheexperts Hi doctor!! My baby used to wake up every 1-1.5 hrs. Have very little milk and sleep off. From past three days we started putting pacifier whenever she wakes up and she sleeps off. Is it ok to do so?

A. hi it is ok but better to avoid doing this please offer breasfeeding whenever it is needed if a child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need of such things
