#asktheexperts hi doctor, my baby girl is of 16 months, she is getting 5 teeth currently and she is not fussy and crying , but has stopped eating anything and is always taking breast feed only, can teething be the reason and what can I do to make her eat food.

A. She might have difficulties of teething. Always monitor if there are any other issues like high fever, pain disturbing the baby

A. yes it is teething issue so dont force feed for few days

A. Yes teething can be the reason. Try to offer finger foods there's possibly baby enjoy fed himself also try to provide calcium like offer Makhana not whole but into piece .

A. Teething is the biggest reason which makes a child clingy onto breastfeeding all the time so this is nothing unusual so try to give more of liquid to child which would be healthy and good and easily acceptable and digestible for your child
