#asktheexperts Hi Doctor, I have gained lot of weight after c section delivery .It's been 6 months. please suggest how can I get back to my shape.

A. Dear mum, to lose weight and get back to shape, you should eat mindfully. Avoid high calorie foods, processed and packaged foods. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Exercise every day for 45 to 60 minutes and have an active lifestyle.
