Q.

#asktheexperts ...hi doc...My baby boy is 6 month old now n isn't gaining much weight....at birth he was 3.3.75kgs n now he is 6.5....what should I do sir?

A. weight seems fine. start with liquid only like dal ka pani or Rice water or fruit purees along with breastmilk on demand slowly switch to semi solid mashed meals. start iron calcium and multivitamin regularly

A. Its lil behind the double of birth weight So I think maybe the breastfeeding that you are giving is not appropriate for the child you should start giving powder milk as well to the child if that is what is going to help and healthy weight gain and overall growth of the child
