A. At 7 months and 7 kg, your baby boy’s development seems mostly on track for his age, especially since: He sits leaning forward (tripod position), which is a normal early sitting posture as he builds balance and back strength. He responds to sound by looking up, showing that his hearing and attention are developing well. He enjoys being on the shoulder, which shows awareness and attachment. As long as: He’s trying to sit without full support, Can hold his head up steadily, Is curious, alert, and responsive to sounds, Then his growth and milestones are within normal limits. You can support him by giving tummy time, encouraging sitting with toys in front, and offering a safe space to explore. Keep monitoring weight (7 kg is within the healthy range) and consult your pediatrician if you feel he isn’t gaining weight steadily or misses other key milestones like rolling, reaching out, or babbling.
