Q.

#asktheexperts hello sir my son is now 11 months old.. he is getting vaccinated every time.. but I have doubt about hepatitis-b vaccine. when it should be vaccinated. whether birth time or in doses? we actually not have idea whether he was vaccinated while born.. if not can we do it now? please clarify

A. BCG + OPV was marked by nurse while birth.. hepatitis b is showing blank in vaccination tracker.. how could I know whether it was done r not

A. Birth. - BCG + hepatitis B + OPV 6,10,14 weeks -- dpt + hep B + hib +Ipv Pcv + Rotavirus 6 months--. Typhoid , Influenza 1st dose + opv 7 months --- Influenza 2 nd dose 9 months --- Mmr + opv mcv( meningococcal) optional. 1 year ---- Hepatitis A. mcv 2 nd dose 15 months---. varicella( chicken pox) . mmr 2nd dose 18 months ----. dpt + hib + ipv Booster Hepatitis A 2nd dose Pcv booster 2 years. Typhoid 2 nd dose Infoluenza ( every year ) 4-5 yrs. chicken pox 2 nd dose dpt booster opv 10 years. DT. + hpv ( for girls)
