#asktheexperts Hello sir, my son is 11 months old, he has running nose and cough for past 3 days, what precautions I should to make him comfortable?

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Indirect steam helps. Use a humidifier in your baby's room. Take 1 or 2 tsp of jaggery, 1 to 2 black pepper, a pinch of cumin seeds and 1 cup of water. Mix all the ingredients and bring the water to a boil. Cool and filter the water to be fed. Do not give the baby more than 2 tsps of this concoction. This calms colds and a cough and sore throat.
