A. Indirect steam helps. Use a humidifier in your baby's room. Take 1 or 2 tsp of jaggery, 1 to 2 black pepper, a pinch of cumin seeds and 1 cup of water. Mix all the ingredients and bring the water to a boil. Cool and filter the water to be fed. Do not give the baby more than 2 tsps of this concoction. This calms colds and a cough and sore throat.
