#asktheexperts Hello Sir, My baby is 6 months old and still she is on mother milk. Since last 3 days, we have started to give water by spoon. today She is passing stool 3 to 4 times. please suggest us what need to do.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, if the stool is paste like, soft, & baby is putting on weight, not cranky, urine count is good than it is not necessarily a cause for concern about it.

please don't get panic
please start with easily digestible food like warm dal water moong water or rice starch with small quantity of spices and ghee
you can give properly cooked rice and khichdi
you can give 30 to 50 ml water to your Child per day
please give daily massage with Babyhug massage oil
