Q.

#asktheexperts Hello, my son who will now turn a year old in a week, has been exclusively breastfed since birth. he hasn't been introduced to formula or bottle feeds .He wakes up several times(3-4) at night for feeds . Will introducing him to external source of milk help with this ?

A. hi yes it can help but it is not necessary to wean your child from night feeding ,it is natural thing ,so it alright by own. nothing to worry about it although ,I advise to give heavy food items like sheera, rab, etc at night time meal or give warm milk (cow's milk) before sleep time. it will help to decrease night time waking frequency
