Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. baby teeth can become discolored for many reasons, including: 1.inadequate brushing. if baby teeth aren't brushed properly. bacterial infection can cause such black staining of tooth due to decay. 2.medication use. infant medications containing iron, such as supplemental vitamins, might cause stains on baby teeth. 3.tooth injury. a single dark tooth could be the result of bleeding within the tooth due to dental traumax. 4.illness. long standing disease illness as well as nutritional deficiencies can cause pigmentation of the tooth. x
