Q.

#asktheexperts Hello, My son is 3.5 years old.He had cold,cough fever 6 days ago.after given calpol syrup for 3 days fever gone.so,calpol syrup is stopped.after that doctor prescribed antibiotic syrup is used for 2 days and still using ascoril junior syrup.heis getting cough very slightly and no cold. Unfortunately,today he is getting fever, temparature is about 99.6.so that temprature consider fever or normal body temperature? what is the reason for this?Any blood test is need for this?

A. it is a low grade fever and if the medicine advised by a doctor you have completed all the dose and still the child is having fever you can then check with your doctor otherwise complete the dosage and by then the child should be all fine
