#asktheexperts Hello - My son has loose motion five days back but now the motion has reduced but now he is doing motion after every feed and now we did stool test ( PH comes 6 but reducing substance comes positive) is it okay or do we need to do anything?

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose mohlitions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
