#asktheexperts hello mera baby 4 year 10 month ka h usko monday se fever aa raha tha to mai usko doctor sr dikhaya fir usne medicin diya or antibiotic v to 3 days medicin dene ke baad vich fever aa raha tha to maine Thursday se antibiotic start ki hu av fever ni aa raha tha or doctor boli thi 5days tk antibiotic dena hai to fever ni aa raha hai to v fever ka medicide or antibiotic dono dena h ya ni please reply

A. Yes you gave to give medicine for fever and antibiotics as well and complete the course of medicine and follow up with your doctor and give baby ORS coconut water abd light yo digest foods and fruits

A. Antibiotic First have been advised for an infection so if you see that the child doesn’t have fever but continue with antibiotics because mostly antibiotics are given only in the case of an infection otherwise for normal fever antibiotics are never given to the child
