#asktheexperts Hello Ma'am My delivery was on 5july 2021 it was C-section. After that i got periods for continuous 5-6weeks. But after that till date no periods. My baby is on breastfeeding now from last month solids also start. How much maximum time i can wait for my periods.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. there can be lactation every up to six months are one year also but you should have some contraceptive measures And also it is advisable for the to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for some investigations also depending on the need o k

U Can very well wait up till one year to 1 1/2 years easily because a lot of women do not get their bed period after delivery for 16 to 18 months also and that’s considered normal because when you are exclusively breastfeeding the child a lot of times due to hormonal changes in the body women do not get their period
