#asktheexperts hello, I'm 15weeks and 2 Days pregnant. Baby's NT scan is 0.90mm. I am diabetic taking insulin (8unit) morning and night. so do i neep NIPT test?

A. Yes it has to be done to diagnose any kind of genetic abnormalities in babies and it is mandatory abd usually co ducted before 20 weeks so you can get it so no need to worry

A. If your doctor suggest you then only you should take it because NIPT is not a mandatory test it is only done if you don’t find things proper in the previous scan because this is going to eventually going to give you a very clear picture about the overall growth and development of the child
