#asktheexperts hello I am the mother of a 9 month old baby girl. And exclusively pumping. For one month I found the milk supply has been decreasing. Can I take laptaden Tablet? as my gynecologist prescribed it after delivery and it worked or suggest something

A. yes you can continue the tablets at as advised by the doctor. There can be lot of individual variation in the problem sometimes there is need to do physical examination and if required for investigations also to come to the diagnosis and give appropriate advice ok

Q. #AskTheExpert i am a mother of a 3 week old baby girl. i have inverted nipple and was feeding her with the help of nipple shield on initial days...but milk supply was less and started pumping milk and fed her through bottle....pumping milk every 2 hrs and feeding her according to her demand..but not clear on how much to feed...and how long can we preserve the milk in room temperature.. she was initially on formula milk along with pumped milk..now reduced the amt of formula.. how much to feed at this.age and how to dicontinue formula.. and.is there an alternative for pumping...she is finding it difficultbto latch on to nipple shield now... does nipple shield reduces milk suppl？ also now the formula is fed only once a day..when she is too cranky..is that required ？
