#asktheexperts Hello doctor, will my baby gain more weight if I eat more of fatty food? she is 7 months old and exclusively breastfed. started giving her semi solid food a month back. Her weight is 7.2kgs and birth weight is 3.08kgs.

Hi Siri current rate of the child is absolutely delightful according to the age on the birth weight of the child so I would just like to tell you don’t force yourself to do anything which is not healthy for you and fatty foods are neither good for you not for your child if you want to eat something which is good for you and for the child and that is protein so you have that for your own good and feed protein is more to your child in terms of daily diet as well
